TABLET SIG

A MINI-SIG for Tablet Users

Tablet computers have been increasing in popularity the last few years and why not? Their all-in-one design makes them, light and portable with amazing screen resolution.

Although they are considered computers, you must also accept the fact that they operate a little differently. For this reason, we decided that a Tablet SIG was needed to help members operate their tablets efficiently.

Our meetings are an introduction to tablets with suggestions about what they can be used for and terminology for operating commands.

Next Tablet SIG meeting will be 5:30 PM on Weds April 6th at the Education Center of Butterworth.
Join us for lots of good information on these fun new devices!

For more information, contact the group's leader, Judi McDowell.

Additional Tablet SIG sessions will be announced as they are scheduled.
Location: Butterworth Education Center, 7th ST and 12th AV in Moline.

SIG leaders conduct sessions in an informal atmosphere with questions welcomed. Answers may even come from other members attending. A computer projector displays the SIG leader's monitor on to a screen at the front for all to see.

These discussion groups are for members only and are a benefit of being a member of the Quad-Cities Computer Society. If you aren't a QCS member yet, you are welcome to visit the first session as a guest before joining. To join, see http://www.qcs.org/application.pdf
